Target group

This course is aimed at staff working in Residential Homes in the London Borough of Sutton. 

Aims

The aim of this session is:

• To gain a better understanding of your professional standards and how to minimise the risk of allegations being made about you. 

Learning objectives

By the end of this course participants should have:

• An improved understanding of the importance of professional boundaries.
• An improved understanding of the impact of poor professional boundaries.
• An improved understanding of minimising risk of allegations through professional boundaries.Understanding processes and thresholds for LADO.
• An increased awareness of the different roles for partner agencies within LADO investigations. 
  
• An increased awareness of the stages of investigations and outcomes.
