This course builds on previous years to upskill Autism Leads (new Autism Leads are also welcome and we will provide background information).  We will provide up-to-date information on developments related to inclusive language, best practice, legislation and guidance for supporting your autistic students to learn and thrive.

These training sessions are suitable for autism-lead(s) within your school.

The aims of this session are:

  • Develop a greater knowledge and understanding of autism.
  • Become confident in meeting the needs of autistic learners.
  • Receive guidance, tips, resources, and strategies to enhance your professional practice and support autistic people within your setting.
  • Collaborate, reflect, network, and share your experience within a professional forum.

After attending this session, you will

  • Have a greater understanding of how to support autistic students.
  • Receive the slides and respirces to share within your setting.

This course is fully funded for all Sutton schools.

This course has a cost of £50+20% VAT per session and £300+20% VAT for all 6 sessions via invoice for:

  • Settings external to Sutton
  • Independents
  • Colleges
  • PVI's
