Learning to Provide Better Care - All Adults Registered Care Homes Conference 2024 - by invitation only

Target Group:

All those who are providing or commissioning residential care to adults in the London Borough of Sutton (nursing homes, care homes, learning disability homes, mental health care homes and extra care housing) including managers, carers, health care assistants, registered nurses and other relevant health care professionals. Commissioners and others who have responsibilities for the health and care of adults in residential care settings or extra care housing.

Aim:

The aim of the conference is:

• To help raise care standards in adult residential care settings in the London Borough of Sutton.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this conference participants will have:

• An awareness and refresh of knowledge about why the fundamental care standards matter.    
• To explore the  importance of recreational activities and the positive impact on care residents health and well being.
• An increased awareness about the wide range of services and support available to residential care providers in the London Borough of Sutton.  
• An awareness about the free training offer to promote continuous professional development in residential care settings.
