EHCP's and Annual Reviews - SEND Bitesize Programme 24/25

Target group

This course is targeted to Children’s Social Care staff, including social workers, specialist support workers, early help practitioners, PA’s and youth workers, who work for the London Borough of Sutton.

Aims 

The aim of this session is:
● To provide information about the Education, Health and Care Plans and Annual Reviews and your role in contributing to these legal documents.

Learning objectives

By the end of this course participants will have:
● An increased understanding of what an Education, Health and Care Plan.
● An increased understanding of your roles and responsibility in supporting the EHCP, providing up to date social care advice.
●An improved knowledge of the legal duties linked to EHCP’s
● An increased understanding of the Annual Review process and your contribution to this.
