Continuing Care - SEND Bitesize Programme 24/25

Target group

This course is targeted to Children’s Social Care staff, including social workers, specialist support workers, early help practitioners, PA’s and youth workers, who work for the London Borough of Sutton.

Aims

The aim of this session is:

• To provide information about Children’s Continuing Care to support the knowledge and understanding of staff who are working with children with additional needs, complex health needs and/or disabilities. 

Learning objectives

By the end of this course participants will have:

• An increased understanding of Children’s Continuing Care.
• An increased understanding of when to consider an application for Children’s Continuing Care.
• An improved awareness of how to complete a Children’s Continuing Care application with supporting evidence.
• An improved awareness of how to complete Children's Continuing Care workstep on Mosaic.
