COGNUS VIRTUAL - Governor Safeguarding Training

2-hour virtual training session. Key updates on KCSIE 2024. What Governors should know in respect to safeguarding. Abuse, Neglect and exploitation explained and ways to challenge and support your schools.

This training session is suitable for any Governor, new or experienced, Primary, Secondary and Independents.

The aim of this session is to ensure that Governors are fully up to date with their safeguarding knowledge, how to support and challenge their schools and be aware of the statutory safeguarding guidance for schools and colleges. 

After attending this session, you will have a greater understanding of the role of the school Governor, be up to date with your safeguarding knowledge, and where to find advise and support to carry out your role.

£30 for Sutton Schools.

£50 for non-Sutton Schools and Independents.
