Detail:

A series of sessions focused on understanding and supporting behaviours arising from complex social communication difficulties using approaches of regulation and play.

This training session is suitable for EY Practitioners and SENCOs (in schools or nursery settings).

The aim of this session to equip participants with strategies to help children develop self-regulation skills, improving their ability to manage emotions and behaviour.

After attending this session, you will:

  • Understand the importance of self-regulation in children with social communication difficulties.
  • Identify techniques to support children in recognising and managing their emotional states.
  • Apply practical strategies to help children achieve and maintain a state of calm and focus.
