Target group

This course is targeted to:

  • Professionals who have responsibilities for co-producing outcomes for children and young people with SEND (with or without an Educational, Health & Care Plan).
  • Professionals invited to attend includes social care, educational settings (early years providers, schools, academies, free schools, colleges), allied health professionals, therapeutic roles, educational psychologists, practice leads and private and voluntary organisations.

Aims

The aim of this session is:

  • To upskill professionals in the co-production of holistic outcomes.

Learning objectives

By the end of this course participants will have:

  • An increased understanding of the importance of quality outcomes for children and young people and families.
  • An increased understanding of holistic outcomes in the EHCP process.
  • An increased confidence in writing holistic outcomes.
  • An increased understanding of what a good EHCP process looks like.
