Course Overview
This will be an open Foster Carer Forum which will offer carers a space to bring examples of situations/behaviors with young people that they struggle with or worry about. The Forum will provide support by asking for advice/ thoughts from other carers in attendance, whilst also referring to evidence-based trauma-informed strategies. It is not possible to state what specific 'behaviors' or 'topics' will be focused on in the session as it will depend on the examples/situations foster carers bring on the evening. Time will be divided fairly between foster carers who wish to discuss a behavior/ situation.
