Registered nurses and senior carers working in Care Homes within the London Borough of Sutton.
Course Overview:
To Provide Registered nurses and senior carers with the opportunity to gain further understanding of the theoretical underpinning of care planning and how this can be used in practice.
Special Requirements:
Participants are required to bring a blank example of the care plan framework that is used in their care home to the session.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course participants will have:
- Gained knowledge and understanding about the theory to enable the identification of residents needs
- Gained a good understanding of care plan structure
- Explored how to use care plans as a tool to coordinate care
- Gained understanding of the role of care plans in quality assurance
