TARGET GROUP
This course is for healthcare professionals who have completed the cardiorespiratory practical session or wish to improve their skills in assessment of the heart and lungs.
AIMS
This is a practical assessment workshop to review your skills in cardio-respiratory examination to provide you with guidance and feedback on assessing the chest.
COURSE OVERVIEW
By the end of the training participants will:
- Develop a structured approach to cardio-respiratory examination
- Recognise normal and abnormal sounds when auscultating the chest
- Demonstrate a competent approach to chest auscultation.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Delegates must bring their own stethoscopes
