TARGET GROUP
This course is targeted to: Only Paediatric Occupational Therapists
AIM
The aim of this course is to:
Have a manual handling refresher to revise handling skills and equipment for Paediatrics.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the session, delegates will have updated their knowledge on how they will:
● Be aware of the range of slings appropriate for paediatrics and their prescription
● Be updated in Manual Transfers and standing slings
● Revise handling techniques for bed repositioning
● Have an opportunity to discuss complex cases
