Safe & Together overview training 22/23

Target group

This course is target to professionals who work with families affected by domestic abuse who need to have an understanding of the Safe & Together Model.  

Aims

The aim of this session is to provide an introduction to the Safe & Together Model and the principles that underpin it. 

Learning Objectives

After attending this course you will:

• Have an understanding of the components of a perpetrator pattern framework
• Have greater knowledge about the Safe &Together Model principles and components and how those guide practice in various roles
• Have a better understanding of how to use the Safe & Together Model as a way to enhance good practice in various roles, reduce risk effectively and achieve better outcomes

Special Instructions

Please note, you will need to attend both of the two half-days to complete this course. There will also be 5/6 hours of pre course online training to complete that will be sent to you before each virtual session.
