Target Group / Level
London Borough of Sutton Staff within the START Team, Sutton Inclusion Centre, and commissioned providers within Nursing, Residential and Day Care Services, including Home Carers. Places will be offered to those in the PVI Sector when places are not taken up by LBS staff.
Course Overview
Use current food safety legislative practice to properly handle and prepare food safely.

• Food storage and what is food poisoning
• The cost of poor food hygiene
• Causes and growth of bacteria
• Cleaning procedures
• Control of hazardous substances and Pest control
