Masterclass in carrying out detailed audits of social work files.

Learning Outcomes

• To have an understanding of the purpose of auditing and how this fits within a departmental quality assurance framework that is focused on improving practice. 
  - To appreciate the different elements of audit tool (quantitative and qualitative responses) and what ‘good’ looks like. 
  - To have an understanding of processes of audit (including relationship with the professional case worker and providing feedback) 
  - To develop skill set required for obtaining feedback on practice 
  - Importance of objectivity, evidence based auditing
