Course Overview

An interactive event hosted by Community Action Sutton, Local Children’s Safeguarding Board and Sutton Safeguarding Adults Board. 

The session will focus on meeting the chairs of the Local Children’s Safeguarding Board and Sutton Safeguarding Adults Board. It will focus on thematic issues based on priorities across children and adult's safeguarding in Sutton. The discussions will centre on the presentation of the issues within Sutton, current practice, identification of gaps impacting on the sector and what next steps are required to improve outcomes. 

This exciting event is an opportunity for voluntary and community sector partners to share their experience of both children and adult’s safeguarding issues that will be directly feedback to the Local Children’s Safeguarding Board and Sutton Safeguarding Adults Board chairs and partner agencies - so come, be heard and make a difference!

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the event: 
• Voluntary and Community organisations can put forward their voices regarding safeguarding priorities in Sutton 
• Organisations to gain an improved understanding regarding the work of the LSCB and SSAB in Sutton 
• Voluntary and Community organisations have the opportunity to influence the future work of the Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) & Sutton Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB)
