TARGET GROUP

All HR Practitioners across the Multi-Agency community, HR Shared Service Kingston & Sutton; health; education providers and the voluntary sector

AIM

This is a CPD session for HR colleagues to develop and increase professional knowledge and raise awareness of the HR role in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

OBJECTIVES

• Understand the role of the HR Practitioner in Safeguarding
• Develop understanding of the role of the Designated Officer in Sutton
• Raise awareness of Domestic Violence (DV) and understand the role of HR including developing and implementing a DV policy
• Raise awareness of FGM in a safeguarding context
• Opportunity for practice development
